 Cleaning the room’s of your heart.
Have you ever seen the picture of Jesus knocking on the door? Did you notice there was not a door knob for Jesus to open the door? The only way Jesus can enter into the room if the person on the other side opens the door and lets Him in.
It is the same with our lives, the only way Jesus can enter your heart is if you open your heart to Him and let Him in. I haven’t always done this; it took me 30 years to open the door. I heard Him knocking for years. I wanted to open the door but every time I started to walk toward it I got distracted by something in the many rooms of my life and I just couldn’t seem to get to the door.
I finally let Him in and once I did it completely changed my life. I had been living all alone in this great big house I call my heart. It always felt empty, cold and dark. When Jesus stepped through the door everything was warm and bright. I saw things in the rooms of my heart that I was afraid to look at, but He helped me sort through each room. Now we are able to spend quality time together. I have never been happier in my life, I know I will never live in darkness again and I will never be alone; all I had to do was open the door and invite Jesus in.
Do you hear Him knocking at the door to your heart? Don’t be afraid to let Him in he will show you a life full of wonders, full of love, light and so much more.
Revelation 3:19-21 "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will eat supper with him, and he with me"
This week open the door; let Jesus into your heart; let Him help you clean out the rooms of your life. Go through each room hand in hand with Jesus; throw out what is not of God. Let the light of Jesus shine in your heart and fill all the dark corners of your life.
