For as the body is one and has many parts, and all the parts of that body, though many, are one body - so also is Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body - whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free - and we were all made to drink of one Spirit. So the body is not one part but many.

1 Corinthians 12:12-14

Mike Brittain

Worship Leader

I was born in Grants, NM and moved to Las Cruces when I was 5 years old. It was there that my dad began his ministry as a Youth & Music Pastor. And so the journey began... We served at churches in Las Cruces, NM, Pilot Point, TX, Bunnell, FL, Greenville, SC and Belen, NM. Through the years I have been heavily involved in Children's, Youth and Adult Choirs and have always had a passion for singing for Jesus. In 1984, I began my law enforcement career and served for 21 years with the New Mexico State Police. I married my wife Gail in 1985. We have two adult children: Cassie is married to Trevor Rogers, and they have blessed us with two awesome grandchildren. Our son, Cody Brittain lives in Oregon. I retired from the State Police at the rank of Sargent in 2005, and then I served as a police officer for 4.5 years with the Town of Edgewood, NM. I love to hunt, fish, camp and explore the great outdoors with Gail and the kids. I am a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Alabama Crimson Tide football team - "Roll Tide"! It is an honor and privilege to lead our congregation in Worship.
